What is CEREC?
A CEREC crown is a same day crown, which means you won’t have to make multiple visits to the dentist or worry about temporary crown troubles. With the help of our computer aided design (CAD) technology, your crown will be shaped and constructed in one visit. (Yes, just one!) We can honestly say that you’ll be impressed with the precision of this technology and just how wonderful your crown looks by resembling your natural tooth so closely.
How does CEREC work?
First, we’ll use a 3D camera in addition to cutting-edge software that creates your customized dental crown. A ceramic block will be placed in a milling machine, which carefully crafts the ceramic into a beautiful ceramic crown. Once the crown is finished and polished up, one of our dentists will cement the crown to your tooth. You’ll be able to smile and see just how beautiful the crown turned out!
