Dr. Adam Moore
Dr. Adam grew up in nearby Knightdale and graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry. After several internships and shadowing many health care professionals, he chose to pursue dentistry at the UNC School of Dentistry. To provide the best possible care to his future patients, Dr. Adam completed a general dentistry residency at the University of New Mexico Hospital. It involved more than 800 hours of training with some of the top general dentists and dental specialists in the Southwest. His learning experiences have equipped him with knowledge of the latest techniques and best practices, and helped him earn fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Only 6% of general dentists in North America have received this distinction.
Having been voted “Top 40 Dentist Under 40” by Incisal Edge Magazine, Dr. Adam is committed to excellence. As your family dentist in NC, he takes a collaborative approach to patient care and is very passionate about communicating with his patients. “By placing my full focus on your unique needs and wishes, I will help you get the smile results you envision and deserve,” he says. And all the while, he will calm your fears with his friendly demeanor and gentle touch.
Since he wants to provide you and your family the most comprehensive and least invasive care possible, Dr. Adam completes in excess of 100 hours of continuing education training every year. Because of his expertise, he was asked to evaluate new technologies and products for Dental Adviser™. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Wake County Dental Society, North Carolina Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. When he’s not busy learning and providing exceptional dentistry, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, volunteering at Wake Smiles Dental Clinic, and watching the Tarheels. Dr. Adam wants everybody to know that he cheers for NC State – as long as they’re not playing Carolina!
