At Wells Family Dental Group, your time is extremely important to us and we want to make the most of it. By going forward with a CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) crown, there is no need for multiple visits back to our office and you won’t have to deal with the troubles of a temporary crown. You’ll get your permanent crown the same day in our office during a 90-minute scheduled appointment time.
How does CEREC work?
While in the dental chair, one of our dentists will prepare the tooth for the permanent crown. We’ll use a special 3D camera and cutting-edge software to design your crown customized to fit your tooth. Following, a ceramic block, which is put into our milling machine will transform into a beautifully, crafted crown with the use of diamond burrs. Once the crown is finished being cade, one of our dentists will cement the crown in your mouth and you’ll be able to carry on with the rest of your day knowing you have a new and beautiful crown!
Can everyone get a CEREC crown?
If you are in need a crown, you are most likely a candidate for a CEREC crown. However, by scheduling an appointment with us, one of our dentists will be able to determine if a CEREC crown is right for you!
