All on Four Dental Implants in Raleigh, NC
All on Four dental implants are an innovation in dentistry. They were designed to provide incredible functionality to patients with missing teeth in just four implants. Since there is not typically a need for bone grafting with these implants, they are ideal for patients who have faced bone mass loss for any reason.
Here at Wells Family Dental Group, we are pleased to offer All on Four dental implants in our Raleigh office. So, how exactly do they work? Before the treatment, one of our dentists will administer a local anesthesia to ensure your treatment is painless. Then, they’ll place four dental implants strategically. While two implants will be placed in front of your mouth at 90 degree angles, two more will be placed on the back of your mouth at 45 degree angles. This way, the implants can absorb natural bite forces and won’t come loose.
Once the implants have been placed, we’ll attach a temporary set of dentures that same day. After about six months, your implants will fully integrate and we’ll put a permanent set of implant supported dentures in place.
Perhaps the greatest benefit of All on Four dental implants is that you can eat whatever you want with them in your mouth. You no longer have to say no to steak, corn-on-the-cob and other foods that are difficult to eat with dentures or missing teeth. You’ll be able to care for your teeth via daily brushing and flossing as you normally would and won’t have to worry about any speech impediments.
All on Four dental implants are designed to last a lifetime and can dramatically improve the overall quality of your life.
