Chris Steddum
DDS (OS Only)
Dr. Chris Steddum attended UNC-Chapel Hill as an undergraduate and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the ECU School of Dental Medicine in 2016. Following dental school, Dr. Steddum completed his residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he received formal training in oral surgery, implant placement, dental prosthetics, and the management of medically compromised patients.
Dr. Steddum earned his IV Sedation permit through advanced training at The Aristotle Institute and actively maintains his credentials through membership in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. In addition to his role in private practice, Dr. Steddum serves as a clinical instructor with Western Surgical & Sedation, where he teaches general dentists from around the country the surgical management of wisdom teeth. Dr. Steddum is dedicated to providing surgical procedures in a safe and comfortable environment at Wells Family Dental Group.

Chris Dawson
DDS
Dr. Chris Dawson is a Florida native who has called NC home since 2002. After graduating from NC State (2009), he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at Indiana University (2018). After finishing a General Practice Residency in Charlotte, he and his wife, Sarah, returned to Raleigh where they welcomed their first son, Kit, in 2023.
In addition to his hospital training, Dr. Dawson has further honed his practice through Continuing Education focusing on medically and dentally complex patients. His goal is always to help patients understand their dental health and achieve the goals they have for their smile.
