Brett Wells
DDS
Dr. Brett Wells attended Louisburg Rd.-Rolesville Middle School, only a few miles from his practice, and graduated from Ravenscroft School where he played baseball and football. Dr. Wells then moved to Wilmington, North Carolina and graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Dr. Wells went on to graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Dental School with honors. He then attended a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Florida where he trained with some of the top surgeons and general dentists in Northeast Florida. He returned to Raleigh and began working with a large group practice and has now opened his own practice.
Outside the office, when Dr. Wells isn’t taking additional continuing education courses, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, fishing, traveling, and watching sports (especially the UNC Tarheels and his passion, the Carolina Panthers NFL team!).

Jeffrey LaMura
DDS
Dr. Jeffrey LaMura is a highly experienced general dentist with a passion for creating healthy, confident smiles through comprehensive, compassionate care. Originally from the Worcester, Massachusetts area, Dr. LaMura earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s University in 1991 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan in 1995. He completed a General Practice Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, gaining advanced experience in restorative and emergency dentistry.
Over the next several years, Dr. LaMura practiced in New Jersey and Massachusetts before purchasing his first practice in Clinton, Connecticut, which he owned from 2002 to 2012. In 2013, he relocated to North Carolina and later owned a practice in Cary from 2014 to 2023. Today, he is proud to be part of the team at Wells Family Dental Group, where he enjoys focusing on Invisalign, crown and bridge work, restorative care, and endodontics. Dr. LaMura is particularly passionate about helping patients feel comfortable during root canal treatments and strives to dispel the myth that they are always painful.
After 30 years apart, Dr. LaMura reunited with and married his high school sweetheart. Together, they share a wonderful blended family of six children and four grandchildren. Family time is deeply important to him, and he cherishes every opportunity to spend time together.
Outside the office, Dr. LaMura enjoys traveling, cooking, playing golf, and exploring new restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries. A lifelong sports fan, he enthusiastically follows the Carolina Hurricanes, New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and University of Michigan football and basketball teams.

Samir Naik
DDS
Dr. Samir Naik was born in Bombay, India, and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. With a career spanning over 25 years across Virginia, Washington D.C., and North Carolina, Dr. Naik brings a wealth of perspective shaped by the diverse patient populations he has served.
After successfully owning and operating three solo practices, he is excited to transition into the collaborative team environment at Well Family Dentistry, working alongside its dedicated and conscientious providers.
